Key Biscayne Regatta 2008

You may have heard, or maybe you haven’t, but the Key Biscayne Regatta is back. It’s all going down on Saturday, March 15th. If you’ve got a boat, get out to the Mashta flats and have a good time. I would recommend you bring a towel. Please be safe and don’t pollute.

Grove bars must close at 3am

In case you missed it, bars in the Grove now have to close at 3am. The former cutoff time was at 5am; the council voted in favor of residents to set the new cutoff at 3am. The whole thing was done for a push against drunk driving. I guess I can kind of agree: at 5am you’re goin’ home absolutely retarded, while at 3am you’re only faded as hell.
